Your Trust Charity is the registered charity of Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust.  We are dedicated to improving the lives of local people, the trust is responsible for the care of 600,000 local people and one in six of our patients are children.

Your Trust Charity adds value to vital services over and above what the NHS provides.  Much has been achieved including;

• The purchase of specialist equipment such as Billipads, which enables jaundiced babies to be held when receiving urgent light therapy treatment and care.
• The commissioning of an innovative, pharmacy-led, diabetes renal clinic which enables kidney patients to access quality care in the community.
• Sally Sunshine bags for patients beginning their chemotherapy journey, a goody bag full of treats, handy accessories and distractions to aid with the grind of passing time whilst receiving chemotherapy.
• Pet therapy for our younger patients and also our older patients who are undergoing rehabilitation following a stroke.  Evidence reveals that pet therapy can release endorphins that produce a calming effect. This can help alleviate pain, reduce stress, and improve your overall psychological state.
