Excitement continues to build this week ahead of The Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) Annual Dinner and Awards Evening taking place this Thursday 19th April. The event, which is recognised as one of the most prestigious awards evenings within the region, will be held at the ICC, Birmingham.
It will include a Silent Auction fundraising activity in aid of Acorn’s Children’s Hospice, the 2018 nominated charity of GBCC President Paul Kehoe CBE. 2018 marks a major milestone for the Midlands charity who have been providing vital care for life limited and life threatened children, combined with support for their families for 30 years.
The sell-out event will attract over 1,200 guests from businesses across the Greater Birmingham area. Proceedings get underway with a networking drinks reception at 6pm before handing over to this year’s host, acclaimed actor, Stephen Mangan.
The fundraising silent auction is to be staged by The Silent Auction Events Company which is a sister company to hospitality specialists, Eventmasters, both of whom are Birmingham-based.
Staged throughout the course of the evening, the auction boasts an impressive array of luxury items, signed memorabilia and hospitality experiences. Eventmasters will provide options for a number of enticing sports & concert hospitality packages from its extensive inventory.
